How to Become a Host

Step-by-step guide to creating and running your tournament

1

Pay the Creation Fee

Choose your tournament type and pay the one-time creation fee. GG Coin tournaments cost 500 GG Coins. Real Money tournaments require ₹499 via Razorpay.

This fee prevents spam tournaments and ensures hosts are committed.
2

Configure Your Tournament

Set the name, format (Single/Double Elim, Round Robin, Swiss), team size, max participants, region, entry fee, prize distribution, and schedule.

The commission breakdown (prize pool %, your cut %) is shown live as you configure.
3

Registration Opens

Players register and pay entry fees. You can see every registration and payment in real time from the Payments Dashboard.

For real money tournaments, all entry fees are held securely by TheBadGamer.
4

Check-In Period

Players must check in 30 minutes before start. No-shows who don't check in are removed from the bracket before generation.

A 24-hour and 1-hour reminder email is automatically sent to all participants.
5

Start the Tournament

Click "Start Tournament" in your dashboard. The bracket is automatically generated based on checked-in participants.

Random seeding by default. Bye slots auto-filled for non-power-of-2 player counts.
6

Manage Matches

Players report their own scores. If both agree → auto-advance. If they disagree → dispute flagged to you. You resolve disputes and can override results.

You receive an email immediately when a dispute is raised.
7

Tournament Completes — Earnings Posted

When the final match is reported, the tournament auto-completes. Winners' and host's prize amounts are immediately posted to their Earnings Balance as "Pending". GG Coin prizes are credited instantly.

Real money prizes move from Pending → Available after admin confirms the fund transfer (typically within 24–48 hours).
8

Withdraw When You Hit the Threshold

Prize money accumulates in your Earnings Balance across all tournaments. Once your Available balance reaches ₹500 (default threshold), you can request a single withdrawal to your UPI, bank account, or PayPal.

One withdrawal request covers your entire Available balance. You choose UPI, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, or PayPal — save accounts in Settings → Payout Accounts.

Tournament Formats

Choose the right structure for your competition

⚔️

Single Elimination

The classic bracket format. One loss and you're eliminated. Fast, intense, and decisive.

How it works

  1. 1Players are seeded randomly into a bracket
  2. 2Winners advance to the next round; losers are eliminated
  3. 3Continues until one player/team remains undefeated
  4. 4Final match determines the champion

Fast tournaments, large player pools, time-limited events

Prize Earnings Balance

How real money prize money is held, accumulated, and paid out

Your Prize Balance Lifecycle

Pending

Tournament ended, awaiting admin confirmation

Available

Admin confirmed — ready to withdraw

Requested

Withdrawal submitted, being processed

Paid Out

Transfer confirmed by bank

Prize money never disappears — it moves through these stages. A Pending amount becomes Available once admin confirms the fund transfer. Rejected withdrawals are fully refunded to Available.

💰

Minimum Withdrawal

You must accumulate ₹500 in Available balance before requesting a payout. This prevents micro-transactions with high banking fees.

📤

Single Withdrawal

Each payout request withdraws your entire Available balance at once — no partial withdrawals. Save up first, then withdraw.

♾️

No Expiry

Your earnings balance never expires. Leave it for months or years — it's safe and doesn't earn interest.

💳

Multiple Accounts

Save multiple payout accounts (UPI, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, PayPal) in Settings → Payout Accounts. One account is your default for quick withdrawals.
