Please read these terms before using TheBadGamer. They cover your rights, responsibilities, payments, and how we handle disputes.
By creating an account or using TheBadGamer.in ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and contributors.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By registering, you confirm you meet these age requirements. We may suspend accounts found to violate these requirements.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account, impersonate other users, or create multiple accounts to exploit referral, rewards, or tournament systems. Enable two-factor authentication for added security. Notify us immediately at contact@thebadgamer.in if you suspect your account has been compromised.
You agree NOT to post or transmit content that: (a) is sexually explicit, contains graphic violence, or is illegal; (b) promotes hate speech or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, or disability; (c) harasses, bullies, or threatens other users; (d) infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property; (e) spreads deliberate misinformation; (f) is spam, phishing, or unsolicited advertising; (g) contains malware or exploits security vulnerabilities.
By submitting content (wiki pages, reviews, forum posts, profile information, clips, screenshots), you grant TheBadGamer a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the Platform. You retain ownership of your original content and must ensure you have the right to post it. Content that violates these Terms may be removed without notice.
Wiki contributions are subject to moderation. New editors' content is reviewed before appearing publicly. By contributing, you agree your edits may be modified, approved, or rejected by moderators or admins. Contributions are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution licence, allowing other users to build upon your work with credit.
Tournament participants must follow all match rules and report results honestly. Cheating, match-fixing, or result manipulation is grounds for immediate disqualification and permanent ban. Prize distributions are final after admin approval. For cash-prize tournaments, prizes are subject to applicable Indian tax law; winners are responsible for their own tax obligations.
GG Coins are virtual currency with no real-world monetary value unless explicitly awarded as a prize. GG Coins are non-refundable (except where prohibited by applicable law) and can be gifted within the Platform up to the daily limit. We reserve the right to modify GG Coin values, shop items, and earn rates at any time with reasonable notice.
BadGamer Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for refund eligibility details. We reserve the right to modify Pro features and pricing with at least 7 days' notice.
All payments are processed by Razorpay (primary, India) or Stripe (where available). We do not store payment card details. By making a purchase, you agree to the payment processor's terms and privacy policy. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Currency conversion is handled at checkout based on your detected or selected region.
TheBadGamer, its logo, and all Platform content not created by users (design, code, copy, graphics) are owned by TheBadGamer Technologies Pvt. Ltd. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without written permission. Game titles, covers, and metadata belong to their respective rights holders and are displayed under fair use for informational and review purposes.
We may suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior warning. Severe violations (illegal content, hacking, fraud, sexual exploitation of minors) result in immediate permanent bans with no appeal. On termination, your access to Pro features and GG Coins shop items is revoked; virtual currency and items are forfeited with no refund.
TheBadGamer is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of account data or service interruptions. Our total direct liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim, or INR ₹500, whichever is greater.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via Platform notification and email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act 2000 and Consumer Protection Act 2019. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved through mutual negotiation by contacting contact@thebadgamer.in. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in India under applicable arbitration rules, or resolved in the courts of India.
